My wrightia bonsai was recently invaded by spider mites and had more than 50% of leaves fall off. I bought a miticide to get rid of the mites, which worked after just one application but whats left of the leaves are still turning yellow and dropping though there are a few new ones growing. One branch is completely bare and doesnt look as though it will grow anymore new leaves.
What should I do? I live in a tropical climate and the bonsai is mostly in the shade, watered twice daily.

Firstly, i would stop watering so much. It is losing its leaves and does not need that amount of water. I would take the rest of the leaves of and repot it in a free draining soil mix, move it into a protected area and water moderately( every second day) until it pushes some new growth. Remember this is advice from a Victorian with a totally different climate than yours. Maybe a tropical person can chime in
