Hi all,

I bought this little number off a mate in our club about 6 months ago. I cant remember what type of Juniper it is either

Been racking my brain for ages as to where to go, my oldest piece of stock and he had had it a while, so i have been a little hesitant in case i let him down too. but its time to have a go i reckon, it wont get any better by looking at it :fc:

I have in mind a windswept design but the trunk direction and branch direction may be going in alternative directions for it to look real.
The wood is quite brittle and the bark has some texture to it, so not a great deal of movement will be able to be added i feel.

I have just taken these photos a couple of minutes ago (slow day in the pool cover business :tounge: ), might play around with Jamie's destructions :reading: on virts tonight.

But if anyone else has any ideas please feel free to unleash fury on this little baby.

He hasn't given you much for 30 years development???

I find it very difficult to give styling advice with 2d pics but the last shot gives some hope of a widswept style. Could it be tilted left to bring the trunk near vertical then shape the branches to horizontal pennants to the left?
Probably jin the long wispy top shoot.
