Hi All,

There is a huge pine tree (cypress looking) on a friends property.

The tree must be so old it's 1.5 meters wide at the trunk and a good 40 meters tall.

Is it possible to air layer some twisted branches that has grown vertical on the lowest branch

The branch in question is about 5cm across.

Any tips mostly appreciated and can this method be used on most trees ??

Good evening,

You could use the search function to search for related posts.

When you logged in, on the top right hand corner, there is a Search button.

You can search using keyword such as "air layering". There are dozen of related posts in the forum. Unfortunately, I don't have their addresses on hand.

Good luck.
