Cascade Deodar for critique

This cedar is up for a repot next spring, and I wanted to open it up for critique by the ruthless members of this site. A little history. I started this tree in 1984, it was a natural cascade when I bought it and so went with the theme. It was last potted five years ago, I'm currently looking for a shallower pot (this was the only pot available at the time). This year I pruned the top half of the tree, wired it and then pinched new growth. This was done to give some vigor back to the lower half, which has been left to grow unhindered. The weight of the cascade has dragged the planting angle down somewhat.
Height of pot is 50cm, tree height is 80cm (31") width at widest point=59cm (23"), depth 80cm (31"), and the width if trunk base is 9cm (3 1/2")
I look forward to any suggestions or comments
Paul
