Hi Brad, All my trees are on turn tables, it makes life a lot easier. I have a large number of pots that a local potter makes up for me she will make almost any shape pot i want,if you would like to see a few pics i will put a few up.Iam a landscaper and love doing asian style gardens as you can see by the red stands.
Thaks John

Fantastic looking display John!
What turntable mechanism do you use and how do they hold up in the weather?
Also, can you recall what the name of the red colour is? I tried to paint mine that colour but I missed and ended up with a horrible reddish/brown
Thanks in advance,
Steven

Hi All,
The poles i use are A4 treated pine sleepers size approx 200W x 75 to 100 thick, all i do is dig a hole 500 to 600 deep back fill and pack in soil hard, on the top i screw exterior rated ply 25mm thick x 300sq then screw on a lazy susan (sold in Bunnings)on top of this i place a 400x400 concreate paving block that your bonsai sites on.
The paint is Dulux standard red.
I have also used large lime stone blocks and place the lazy susan on them works well (see pics attached)
