Native cuttings, how to stirke?

I collected cuttings from a few natives today, some leptospermums, melaluecas, banksia's and grevillia's. Most are small semihardwood cuttings but i got one decent sized hardwood cutting from a leptospermum. What mix is best, straight sand, sand/cocopeat mix, commercial propagating mix or something else all together?

Hi John
Do a search in the native section for cuttings. Pup has a couple of threads about propagating cuttings in there. He uses honey and a soft drink bottle as a mini hot house and has good success.

didnt manage to find much on striking native cuttings. Any suggestion on what mix to use? I'm thinking commercial cutting mix, sieved commercial cutting mix or a 50/50 river sand/potting mix (both sieved. Should any of those be good?
