G'day Anth,

I'd recommend joining a local club. You will get a lot of benefit from attending meetings and working on your tree's. Check out our forum for Nurseries, Club's and Schools to find one in your area.

Regards,
Steven

Hi anthony, we do run workshops here in our nursery. And we also run free bonsai demonstrations every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00-12:00am and 1:00-3:00pm. For the demo, we would pick an established bonsai or raw materials from the nursery to work on, where you can observe and ask questions or suggest a particular species of tree of you interest to be worked on. Contact me on bonsaisensation@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Regards
Tien

Hi Anth
Our club, Bonsai Northwest, which meets in Essendon on the first Monday of the month with the next meeting being on the 5th September, is actually a workshop night. What this means is members bring in their trees and get help and advice from more experienced members about their trees. You can bring your trees along to the night and we will be able to help you.
