After feedback from the bonsai community, Ausbonsai.com included, Boon started producing a scale Juniper DVD.

The time has come to announce its release!

As I type there is a box of 26 juniper DVDs on its way to Australia. Price is likely to be $42 but i might be able to get it a little cheaper , let me know if you would like a copy.

Follow along with Boon Manakitivipart on this DVD as he teaches you various styling and maintenance techniques for scale junipers. He works on three varieties to demonstrate the techniques you need to produce a great tree.

Rocky Mountain Juniper. In this section Boon cleans, prunes, and wires the tree, and creates "Jin" (deadwood) from unwanted branches.

"Itoigawa" Shimpaku Juniper. Here Boon demonstrates how to balance the tree's energy by removing branches and dead needles.

Grafted "Kishu" Shimpaku Juniper. In this final segment, Boon works on a large California juniper that has been grafted with "Kishu" Shimpaku branches.
