Quality ground grown bonsai stock and thanks to Shibui!

A bit of an old topic but what I encountered whilst repotting this trident on the weekend made me want to get into the car and drive back down to Yackandandah. :hooray:
I also thought that it would be good to show what I consider to high quality prebonsai roots from a plastic pot/crate. :o
Although I am unsure as to the age of this tree, and how many years Shibui has put into developing this excellent root spread, I like the results! :clap: I had to cut off maybe 5 or 6 downward growing roots and none where over about a centimetre thick!
For anyone wanting to get into developing ground grown stock, I think that this is what you should strive for...and above all else listen to Neil and Craig! :reading:
Thanks for producing this great stock Neil. Australian bonsai is only going to get better with your trees getting into our hands for further refinement. :aussie:

That is going to be a lovely twin trunk. Thanks for posting it. It will give a lot of people inspiration.
