Quality ground grown bonsai stock and thanks to Shibui!

A bit of an old topic but what I encountered whilst repotting this trident on the weekend made me want to get into the car and drive back down to Yackandandah.
I also thought that it would be good to show what I consider to high quality prebonsai roots from a plastic pot/crate.
Although I am unsure as to the age of this tree, and how many years Shibui has put into developing this excellent root spread, I like the results!
I had to cut off maybe 5 or 6 downward growing roots and none where over about a centimetre thick!
For anyone wanting to get into developing ground grown stock, I think that this is what you should strive for...and above all else listen to Neil and Craig!
Thanks for producing this great stock Neil. Australian bonsai is only going to get better with your trees getting into our hands for further refinement.
Scott.
