Hi guyz
This white flowering camellia has just had some major works done.
It was heavily cut back and now sits in a pot 80cm long by 60 cm wide (final touches coming).
I'm now just gonna let it grow out for several seasons though any suggestions on how I may improve it?
The trunk is about 20cm with a root base of about 50cm.

Does it bud back easily?

this root spread is really nice!
I take it plans are to go back to one or two trunks? or are you looking at a multi trunk style?
the reason I ask is because I feel this tree's root spread and powerful base requires a choice that will determine how the tree turns out. back budding should be great as they are used for hedging all the time. I can see several styles with this one, but reckon a nice single trunk tree with some nice movement and neatly yet informally placed branches.
cant wait to see it in 5 years!
