When should my jacaranda start to get folage

I have a jac in my front yard that is still naked when should I expect it to start growing some foliage ? I was thinking of doing an air layer on it but not sure when I should do it. I live in Melbourne and I know they can struggle a bit down here especially after a cold winter. And ideas anyone?

the ones in Sydney are all shooting now, and my One in a Bonsai pot is in leaf now already

Yours should be real soon I think.
I would put a layer on now

Hey everyone!

Just wondering if I've missed the time to air layer Jacaranda??
Or if they are even a viable air layering candidate?

Any advice would be fantastic!

Thanks
DK

Never tried to layer one, but see no reason why they will not work,
Layering in Melbourne you might be too late for this year.
