Hi all,
Recently collected these from a local park,

I'm not entirely sure that they are the same, but the leaves were very similar before the trunk chops.
I was thinking, Poinciana, tamarind or jacaranda? Their all so similar any help would be greatly appreciated

Mate I would love too see someone get the tree in the green pot correct. My guess for the other one is a Leopard tree which I think is a Caesalpinia. I used to love growing these from seed when I was a teenager. They look like mini gum trees when they are small. The large trees are light grey with darker grey spots on the trunk. I could be way off though. Many trees have these Bi pinnate leaves when they are young. Could be a Wattle of some kind?

Your little mysteries are in the family Fabaceae, subfamily Mimosoideae, beyond that it is hard to ID from the material shown. Perhaps they are Leucaena or a Calliandra. Give them time to grow and post pictures when they have more mature shoots.

Thanks heaps for pointing me in the right direction, I'll do some research, I just needed something similar to learn growing conditions/requirements and these names were a great help. Either way i think they'll look decent in a few years cheers for your help greatly appreciated
