Each year my azalea (Alfonse Anderson) throws a dark pink sport

By taking cuttings of these variations it is possible to create a new species. This particular sport is quite common on Alfonse Anderson and has been propogated many times.

Both trees were on display at the BSV show on the weekend. Although the darker pink tree is older (I think) it met its maker,
at least one of the relatives.

very nice, really like azalea's. Although a sport is not a new species, just a new form

Wow, beautiful trees!!
You must have to be very careful and diligent with watering to keep them in those shallow pots, especially the dark one. looks amazing though
