We have been extremely busy with Martial arts camps and tournaments here at Bodhidharma. Put on top of that house renovating, keeping trees healthy, watered and fed, all leads to good reasons why i have not been contributing of late. This is some of the stuff that is happening at our place as i type  Life is getting back to normal (if there is such a thing) and i can get back to Bonsai'ing

Hi Bodhi , as soon as i'm back on my feet proper i intend to visit your place for some inspiration . Might take a while but i will definately get there . I too have so many neglected trees , i'm slip potting and chopping back whilst laying down but its progress all the same .

Cheers Alpine

can I ask about your plans for the second wisteria ---is it a single tree or a double planting-the style looks a little opposing-if two plants then I reckon each would have more interest as single trees--- if the right hand root of the rh tree was removed and replanted and some carving done from where it was removed you could have a stunning semi-cascade or slanting style--the left hand tree could be turned a little to the left to get a slightly new front--( sorry :imo: --just some musings)

Thanks for the input Guy. Catch up on this trees history by searching for.."Grand old lady" on this site. It was one very large tree which is slowly dieing and is on one root system. I plan to (if she lets me before moving on) is to fill in the centre again to get a fuller tree. We have history and i do not want to break her up to much. The cascade you see is a part off of her and there is another large section which is in a grow pot.

Nice to see you back in your garden Diederik!

I like keeping up with your adventures. Your trees are so many and varied :tu:
