I found these guys ( heaps/millions of them) on the side of the road today and couldn't resist making a shot clip with to share the view. Just wondering if they really are wild daisy as guessed. Also are they considered weeds and is it a good idea to plant them in the garden.

Hey DK, They are a type of Helianthus (sunflowers) and no they are not native... Really hardy & great additions to the garden, just unfortunate they have spread into the wild as well.

Thank you Nathan, great to know mate. Will collect some to grow in the garden sometimes. I think these guys started from seeds that travelled with the flood water. No wonder they are growing like crazy along the creek.
