Prunus cerasifera

I wandered out today to prune the Prunus, as one does, and found these lurking in the undergrowth:

They'll usually hold one or two for a few months, but this little clump has about 8 this year. Its amazing how well fertiliser works when you actually put it on the trees...

They're only small olive size, and I think they taste sharp and nasty...
