[360˚] Ficus eugenoides Redevelopment

Postby Tony Bebb » July 17th, 2012, 7:49 pm

Thanks to Steven and Gocny for putting together another 360 on this Fig.

I hope you have checked out the story and picture essay on the Blog on this tree. It can be found here if you want a look. http://www.ausbonsai.com.au/blog/TonyBe ... velopment/ I have added the new 360 link there also

The new 360˚view of the redevelopment of this Fig is here http://www.ausbonsai.com.au/360/Ficus_e_tb2/

The opening photo is from the new front, 25˚clockwise from the old one, and now shows all 7 trunks. I will do another 360 when most of the wire is off and the foliage is better.

Give it a spin ;)

Tony

Spent 6 hours yesterday defoliating, removing wire and repotting this Fig yesterday and finally have it positioned at the new front. Will need to keep on top of the regrowth when it starts to grow to keep the leaves small and maintain the layers I created.

Very happy with the change in this tree after so many years. :tu:
