Cutting it fine, but here are the end pics of the little Buxus.
This one was from normal 6" nursery stock. It has been great to see what we can all do in only 14 months.

I agree Tony, the texture of the bark on these is wonderful. You have achieved a result which will make it a feature, I love it!

Very happy with how this little Buxus has progressed. Want to develop the secondary branch structure now and work on a few layers. Might let a sacrificial branch or 2 grow for extra strength.

Time for the next phase of work to begin.
Removed the existing wire and gave it a prune to clean out unwanted growth and remove the tips to get more secondary branches before winter. This growth will then be used to grow the tertiary structure in spring.
