Re: 2016 Bonsai Tour of Japan
Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience in pictures Steven. Certainly jealous and certainly making plans to get to Japan at some stage.
From the pricing I can make out on some of the photos, they appear to be excellent value for money, but with the volume of trees they produce, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
Plenty of inspiration if nothing else.

Hi Shuji,
Hope you and the team had a great tour this year.
There are a lot of people considering going to Saitama next year in April for the WBFF convention. Are you still running a tour next year or are you considering doing a tour before or after the WBFF dates?

That's great about photography. It was a bit frustrating but gave you more time to actually focus on the trees.Shuji Yamazaki wrote:

Re: 2016 Bonsai Tour of Japan
Although i took lots of photos, the ones in the catalogue will be much better. Professionally done. Also, recent research shows that people taking photos remember less of what they see. . .
Great tour by Shuji. We saw Kokofu, several nurseries in Omiya including Kimura's and Kobiashi's, lots of great temples with gardens, the wholesale conifer growing fields, visited Tokoname potters, Aichen nursery, several fast train rides, and great dinners at the end of the day. We also did not get lost thanks to Shuji's orange hat!
