Re: New bench
Nice looking bench and watering system. Having used untreated softwood, (pine) I would be wary of 1. White ants, 2. the wood rotting after a couple of years, especially at joints where the moisture will persist. I hope my fears are unfounded because the Melbourne weather elements may be kinder to your building materials than up here in Qld.

Not stressed . I’m sure it will last a while , and can build another when I need to , they are very simple !
