Re: some of my accent plants
again Mel,
Seems I can keep one of these little accent things alive after all - this is bluegrass planted in a cheap second hand vase about 2 years ago. 3 x tiny little holes at top for the grass to fill up & clump out from. I'm pretty happy with the amount of dirt & slime on the vessel so far...oh wait.. I mean "patina".

Re: some of my accent plants
That's a good looking accent plant KCAR! Well done!
I actually took a few more photos just the other day...
The others weren't in focus since I used a little Russian manual lens....lol

Cheers squizzy, I've gone way overboard with these, since they're quick to get a result with, unlike bonsai.

Thanks for posting Melbrackstone. Your recent post got me interested in exploring the forum on this topic.
I like Watto's post too here viewtopic.php?f=30&t=25022&p=250660&hil ... ts#p250660
And a bump to Melbrackstone's own reference to this article too. https://www.kusamonochoe.com/journal/201 ... ent-plants
Intersting...I might look into this myself.

Re: some of my accent plants
Cheers Mark, getting into accents can end up using up ALL your spare room, including your bathroom and any other space in the house that gets good light... oops, did I say that out loud?
