This common Hawthorn (English hawthorn, European hawthorn, may bush) has a few names but these make great bonsai in my opinion.

This tree was dug locally quite a few years ago and is one of my favorites. It flowers, it fruits, has yellow leaves in Autumn and looks great when deciduous. What more could you ask for?
