This buxus was purchased as large nursery stock with the specific intention of cutting it down and turning it into a shohin. At the time of purchase it was about 750mm tall and currently sit at about 200mm tall so the reduction has been dramatic.
Over the coming years I am hoping that it will continue to develop.
