Handmade pots 4 sale - PK, tokoname and others
We are moving this year, so we need to reduce our collection.
Take comfort knowing that your purchase will help fund a poor underprivileged tree to live a longer sun-filled life, in a loving new home.
At this stage, these pots are only for local pick-up from the Gosford/Sydney area.
You need to transfer the funds into our bank account and that way you have secured your purchase.
We will not put pots aside unless you have paid for them.
I do not want to be mucking around collecting cash. Serious buyers only.
Payment is required first by bank transfer, then you can pickup your purchase.
If we get enough Sydney buyers, we will try to consolidate a Sydney drop-off point somewhere to meet people who prefer to meet in Sydney.
I really don't want to be packing and posting these pots. But if I don't get enough buyers, we may have to look at that option later.
A lot of these pots are really big, and some are quite heavy.
Again, at this stage we aren't offering postage, but if we have a lot left over, we may update to offer postage.
With that all said, here are the beautiful pots on offer:
The photos show you the front and upside-down. The picture on the right is more accurate of the actual shape of the pot. For some reason, with the photos on the left, my iphone 7s seem to give the sides a bit more flare out from the angle downwards than what it really is.
So the photo on the right of each pot (upside down), is how the shape actually is.
The best example would be say pots 6, 20, 22 .... which shows camera distortion on the angles of the left picture. The accurate shape is the upside-down views on the right.

I think you should save these for future competitions . I promise I will do better if you do . .
Great pots ,if I wasn’t stuck in the middle of a ‘ hopefully ‘ once in a life time ski season I’d be there tomorrow . 8,9,12 ,15 for me if you post or we can organise some one to get them to the ACT .

I’m not completely sure the ones that were on offer could be considered a lesser quality Sno… maybe lesson learned!?!?
Either way, enjoy the skiing… cracking season start…

Re: Handmade pots 4 sale - PK, tokoname and others
UPDATE:
The following pots are no longer available pending payment:
8, 9, 12, 15, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 34
As far as postage goes, I have had a lot of people asking about posting.
At this stage I still prefer pickup/drop-off.
But I might offer post if there are leftovers.
I still am keeping one of the Reihou ones I bought off of you many years ago for a Casuarina.

Re: Handmade pots 4 sale - PK, tokoname and others
some very nice pots, good luck with the sale, although I'm sure you wont need it!
Just a query on #19 Banryuhei. I've not heard of this potter before and I'm thinking it might be a mistranslation as the clay and design looks very similar to Maruhei. Feel free to post the hanko if you'd like to confirm. Maruhei is known for putting a small circle stamp on the outside of his pots so if yours has this it pretty much confirms it too.

It was sold to me through Takeyoshi from Tokonamejp about 5-6 years ago or so.SquatJar wrote: ↑July 13th, 2022, 1:28 pm some very nice pots, good luck with the sale, although I'm sure you wont need it!
There is no small circle stamp on the outside of this pot.
But you can notice some Japanese potters have also done this small imprint stamp on the outside of the pots too. I've had a few different types of pots with an outer stamp as a circle and a sig inside stamped on the outside.... over the course of my collecting.
But I am certainly not a knowledgeable person on Japanese Potters.
If you are interested, I've included a pic of the stamp from this pot 19 here

Apologies for hijacking, but the identity of this chop has been irritating my OCD-side.
Your potter is Suishoen Hekisui, Tokoname.
Cheers

You'll notice that none of the pots you sold me are in this list. Those are staying in the 'keeping' section.
I very much love those pots I bought off you.
