My first carved rock pot and I'm happy
I bought a couple of rocks from a local garden supply place for a landscape I'm doing (will post pictures later). I needed another rock for the lanscape so I headed back the the garden supplies and I found the rock I wanted plus this one
Due to the fact that this is the 3rd time I have tried to post this I post this part then continue.

And it continues
I'm really happy with the way this turned out. It took about an hour or so to do from start to finish. Please let me know what you think, cause I went and picked up a couple more rocks to do
Thanks

Re: My first carved rock pot and I'm happy
G'day mate.
I actually replied earlier but it got lost?
Anyway great job on this one.
I love the "true colours" look.
Perhaps some sort of sealant on one or two to retain this look?
Nice work once again.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Well done Josh I love it. A nice Aus native in there would be a treat.

Re: My first carved rock pot and I'm happy
Thanks for the comments guys, finding a suitable tree will the next thing. I found this rock chipped out pretty easy which was good but also concerned me that the rock would chip in the wrong spot easy but all was good. Now to start the next one
