Re: Pat Kennedy Ceramics
You might do better to give Pat a ring and take a drive down to Adelong.... anyone with any sense isn't giving up their PK pots.

Pat has probably left Adelong by now, and moved to Tasmania. According to the latest news, his house was on the market, plus the pottery, kiln included.
Pat, if you read this, we'd all welcome news from you. Of course we wish you the very best, whatever your plans are!

Re: Pat Kennedy Ceramics
I bought a couple of PK pots from Grant Bowie at the show last weekend. Grant had a few more in the boxes he had for sale and may still have a few. One of our local members is selling trees of her late husband. One of those is also in a large PK pot. You will need to buy the tree from her to get the pots but probably still worth the price I think.

Hi Guys,
My Tassie tree change was nothing more than a pipe dream... I’d missed the boat by 10 to 15 years!
So, I’m still at Adelong, still potting (slowly), and happy for all and sundry to drop in for a natter and a brew. Just so you don’t think I’m stuck in the groove I’ll tell you that I’m in Cairns at the moment and heading home tomorrow.
Cheers

Hi Pat,
It's lovely to hear from you and while we are sorry your Tassie adventure proved such a disappointment, WE ARE JOLLY HAPPY THAT YOU ARE AGAIN WITHIN SHOUTING DISTANCE!!
A pity you missed the CBS Show... any chance you coming to Canberra soon?
Very best wishes,
Lisa

Oh wow. You have to post pics Pat. That'd be awesome to see.
I have quite a few more trees in PK pots now, and its funny because I always get the same response when I show people....
"wow, beautiful pot."
Good to hear you're doing well mate. Enjoy yourself
I've got about 25 years till retirement, and then I'll start full time bonsai-ing.

Damn fine development Pat! And you didn't even have to build the thing! Best of luck, no drinking until cone 12 goes over...
(I had a wood-fired kiln back in the 80s - stood on the arch to test its strength and fell straight through... Learnt about the need for metal bracing.)
See you when you're hereabouts,
Gavin

Yep, +1 on pictures if you get a chance....I'd love to see that. Also, if you've got a wood-fired pizza oven too, I'd be supremely jealous. (I didn't men that pun ... but hey, it's there if you look hard enough).Rory wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2019, 12:45 pmOh wow. You have to post pics Pat. That'd be awesome to see.

Tending bonsai teaches me patience.
