Phebalium squamulosum subsp 'lineare' 2

This is an adorable species. I purchased a heap of them from the Wildflower Place at Erina Heights on the Central Coast.
It is incredibly hardy, tolerates a heavy root removal, and grows a thick root system that easily allows rough handling.
I've never lost one to drying out. They do wilt in the strong heat. They tolerate all types of growing medium, light / medium / heavy. They often shoot well from cuts too.
There are many varieties of Phebalium, and a lot of them develop good, thick trunks like this variety.
They have sparkly emerald leaves that seem to twinkle

This one is my favourite Phebalium specimen - I love its elegance.
I have just significantly reduced the roots on this one in September this year in preparation for a bonsai pot soon.

I realize its not quite yet 01.01.2023, but its easier to post that its 2023, so looking back people can easily distinguish that its a year apart. Its only 1 day before the actual date.
