Went to bunnings today in search of nothing inparticular. When i got there i was surprised to find that half their stock was gone and i had obviously missed a massive sale. I assume this can be put down to the gobal financial situation at the moment. After going through some unhealthy trees on sale i stumbled upon this beaty. It had no price tag, no spicies identifacation tag or anything. After tracking down an assistant to help, she informed me it was normally about $40, but considering the sales that were going on at the moment she gave it to me for $15

BARGIN!!!
What i would like to know is if anyone can tell me what species it is...
and also i'm not too sure but it looks a bit sick to me, i have japanese maples and they started budding a few weeks ago and im not to sure why this one hasnt started yet
PS i live in Adelaide and the weather's been 25ish a couple of days to help my maples get into the growing season... why hasn't this deciduous
Any help is much appreciated.
Regards Ben.
