Aercus Lignumfilum

Post by Vice »

I grew this little Aercus Lignumfilum (copper wire tree) from seed a couple of days ago.
It seems to really lend itself to Shohin bonsai as it rarely naturally grows larger than 20cm tall. Although there are cases where it can grow larger but that requires a lot of dedication to get it to that size.
It doesn't really do well with the clip and grow method but it does wonderfully with wiring.

Im not usually a fan of things that are overtly unnatural, but that really does look fantastic. You have good imagination. Well done!
