[ID] please. Ash?

Post by cre8ivbonsai »

about 5 years ago I lived out in Rowville (sth east suburb of vic) in a street that was lined with a certain species of deciduous trees. I had just started to get interested in bonsai, and decided to collect one of these tree that had self-propergated in the front yard. I still have this tree, I had always assumed it was an Ash tree, but lately I'm not so sure given its leaf structure doesn't look like any bonsai Ashes I've seen :lost: . Here's a photo of it's leaves, left immature, right more mature. I'm sure this will be easy pickings someone out there  Thanks, Ryan.
