Hi,
Just wanted to post my other Loropetalum to see what you all think.
I got this from a nursury and it has only been cut to shape and two little fine branches had to be slightly wired.
I will be taking it to my bonsai classes next month to do some more work to it.

hey mate.
I love this one.
Loropetalums are amoung my fav, got anymore pics on this.
Tip with them the thicken up heaps quick if you put them in a large grow box and feed them with a pouldtry based fert and liquid fert.
I have one growing at the moment.
Cheers Pat

They are one of my fav too.
I got another smaller one on the weekend also so might plant that one into a grow pot and try that.
I currently do not have anymore images of that tree but was going to take it to my bonsai class this weekend to do some root work on it.
Do you know how they handle root work as I have not done any root work on them before?

Yeah mate they handle root work fine i root pruned mine fairly harsh twice and just drowned it with seasol for an hour afterwoods.
Hint, keep and eye out for curl grub, in the mix, will eat all your roots if let go, so have a good look when you repot.
I will upload pic of my two up todate for ya to have a look. Post progress up when u do more aswell.
Cheers Pat

Hi,
Thought I would post up a pick of the same tree after my bonsai class.
It has been cut back a bit and rewired so it needs some time to fill out.
