Many tree seeds will need Winter stratification so bear that in mind this time of year

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

I am sure there are some that you could try at the moment that won't need stratifying but just keep it in mind. Maybe gum tree or some hedge type trees. Have to do a bit of research or other members might have some suggestions I usually muck around with those that need a Winter stratification so I can't give much more help from memory.
Very fresh seeds of some species will not need stratifying but ebay may not be the best place to find them.

I've bought Japanese Black Pine, Japanese Maple and Trident Maple from ebay this year. While no the most cost effective option, I've never had a problem. some germ rates are high, some low.
Although I planted them in Winter (Canberra winter, so maybe some strat. effect), I have found the best method is to just get them planted. Some will come up this year, and others next year.
For such a small investment, even if only a few sprout this year, that is one more year's growth!
Buy some and get planting!

Stratifying?
Im not sure what this is exactly?
And would it be good to put them in a seed raising house? I sell them at work so pretty easy to get my hands on seed raising mix and what not.
