That was only on to stiffen while the splitting of the wood, was done that as you can see when it was seperated was gone.
It did not go into the pot. The cable ties were also taken off, so that the living wood could be wired and wrapped. :tu:

Hi Brett I have just had it pointed out to me, that the roots are not very visible in my pics, so we have found three more that might explain it better here they are.
