I just remembered i have a few ash seeds in my back pocket, i believe they were from a tropical species of ash, are these easy to germinate?

Hope these have not been smuggled in from a foreign country in your bach pocket??? If so it would be safer for all of us if they were incinerated!- quicker the better. At the very least sterilise them in a bleach solution before any pests and diseases climb off and start on our local plants or your bonsai.
Germination will depend on which ash you have - so many trees with common name 'Ash'. Hopefully it is a Fraxinus species - most are from cooler climates but a couple come from cooler tropical areas. Fraxinus are quite easy to grow.
