Clay powders, where to get?

Post by Hornet »

Since we have a number of potters here i'm hoping you guys can help me out with finding a source for the following clays.

RedArt powdered clay
Sodium Bentonite powdered clay
Calcium Bentonite powdered clay

Only after small amounts just to see if its going to work and if its worth buying more so probably no more then 500g of each at this stage.

Red art is a US clay so is not available in Australia. There are red Australian clay powders around. Sodium bentonite from any pottery supplier. I haven't heard of calcium bentonite, but ask at suppliers. QLD pottery supplies is in Milton, brisbane.

cheers guys, i can getredart from the states and seems like thats the only place i'll get hold of it. I'll look into the alternatives, need them for fake walls and substrates in vivariums.
