Can someone be kind enough to guide me to the best Japanese Bonsai tools I can buy?? Brand, and where to buy :tu:

Hi Ming,
I honestly think money could be much better spent elsewhere if you are just starting out, however if you have your heart set on Japanese tools, and you are in melbourne, head down to BonsaiFarm in Hawthorn and have a chat to Lindsay :)

The price is what governs them. Joshua Roth are very good, Masakuni are top quality, I use Kanishen which have served me well for 26 years.

As you live in Melbourne you should be able to source good quality tools, without to much trouble.

Best Japanese tools are Masakuni, if you can afford them.

Hi All,
In my opinion, evwen a novice will benwefit from good quality tools. They last longer and cut correctly. To buy cheap is really false economy.

I ended up buying a 9 pieces of Masakuni tool set of Leigh sometimes ago 8-)

They are magnificent :hooray: :tu:
