Hey everyone,
I bought this guy back in May and did an air layer on one of the straight branches mid July. The other day I seperated the layer and did some work on the bottom section.

Here's an update on this tree. I ended up turning it so that the left side in the last picture is the new front. I then thread grafter a branch to the right side to end up with this today:

Pretty much going to plan...
The "bar" setup with the two branches at the same height does catch my eye though..

Ah yes, that branch on the left will be wired backward so it can't be seen, and will become a back branch.
