cedrus atlantica glauca

Post by treeman »

Hi all

Anyone know what's causing new needles on my blue cedar to be going brown and wilted?
Only seems to be the outer new needles not the center shoots.
Thanks

Howdy Treeman, you have plenty of experience so i imagine the Bonsai is well looked after. In my experience they can do that when they are underfed and potbound. I have also had that experience when i did a lot of root work on an old one of mine but it bounced back.

Sounds like something is staying too wet. Check soil, roots, treat with Fongarid on suspicion.
