Found some crazy strangler figs, thought i might try something with them, question is do they take from heel cuttings???

The most common sandpaper fig I have seen used as bonsai is Ficus coronata. It seldom grows adventitious roots but has a lovely dark brown bark and often fruits even as a bonsai. This definitely isn't F. coronata. The figs in this picture could be any of a number. Will wait until pics of leaves but I suspect Ficus virens.
