The leaves are narrow, almost needle shaped. They're very "soft" and flexible though, and don't stick into you like a juniperus squamata would. The bark is smooth, and despite the tree pushing 80cm tall, there's not much thickness to it. It had pink, tiny flowers (about 5-7mm across) but they have mostly dissipated now. The crown of the shrub is rounded, but it's a bit hard to tell as there's another shrub behind it which is slowly taking over it.
The reason I ask is because I took a cutting of said tree, and left it in a pot for a month or so, and it started to yellow. I figured I was unsuccessful in propagating it, but (due mostly to laziness) I didn't remove it. I had a look at it today while I was watering my other trees and lo and behold - it has a sprout! I immediately gave it some fertiliser, but now I'm worried that I'll kill it if it's an Australian native.
