I have just defoliated my azalea and i had to chop off a few green lumpy fleshy deformed 'fruit' from the areas where the flowers had formed. Any ideas what they are and why my plant got them? Sorry didn't get a photo but i'm sure someone out there in Azalea lovers land can help me. I looks like some form of fruit had formed or maybe a bud deformation as a result of some parasite or other nasty.
