I have seen these sprouting under two of my trees and wondering what they are? I don't think they are weeds.

They are 2 different trees, one us a yucca, and the other a western red cedar

They look similar to the Platanus orientalis that I am always pulling from my mentors pots.

I can see why you'd say that, but they isnt any near my house. Im guessing it would have had to have been a seed from a nearby tree. The nearest plane tree is about 1km away with hills in the way. Whilst googling it I noticed it looks more like Platanus × acerifolia, but again, I cant see how that could've been sowed. I have liquidamber formosana and styraflua in my yard that the birds got too, maybe it is one of those? I guess I will have to wait and see :)
