Little shohin trident and a pot.
I have had this little guy sitting on my to-do bench for many years and apart from the occasional repot and trim has had nothing done to refine its future and create its potential. After i trimmed and wired the branches i wanted i did two thread grafts where branches were required. Upon removing it from its grow box i found a plate under its base to spread its roots
which looks liked it worked.
The pot(s) were made by a local potter who i met one day and asked him if he could do Bonsai pots and his reply was..i have never tried..so i got him to make me one. I never gave him a dimension so he made three just in case, and charged for one. Fifty bucks. I am just a lucky guy. Anyway i will keep you posted on this little fat guy.

Not at all Sidd but i think you have started your project a little prematurely. I would have developed its Nebari and healed some of the scarring before starting your project. I personally think you have limited its options and the possibility of more movement in the trunk.siddhar wrote:Hope you dont mind![]()

As stated somewhere, by an obviously serious Bonsai Artist, "Any tree that lives long enough, and is given respect, will eventually become a Masterpiece"bodhidharma wrote:Do you think I can still create a nice composition in the future though?

That doesn't sound very promising. Do I fit into the category of " an obviously serious Bonsai Artist" or "Any tree that lives long enough, and is given respect, will eventually become a Masterpiece"As stated somewhere, by an obviously serious Bonsai Artist, "Any tree that lives long enough, and is given respect, will eventually become a Masterpiece"
