Great job. My only concern would be the size of the rock. As the tree grows it will swallow that one. You might have to start with a larger rock next time

Hey mate.. Thanks
This one had been packed for about 14 months. Started with> slurry mix of clay, chopped shpag moss and sand coating the rock >Then roots draped over... and another coating of shpag/soil with al-foil outer skin holding it together.

Thank you.
i agree this rock will become engulfed by the main roots and aerial ones down the track.. Thats actually what i'm hoping for! but the size of the pot will slow this considerably i imagine..
NS
Top work NS, I like the positioning on the rock too!...as well as the main trunk line leaning back towards the pot!
Cheers, Dario.
(edit) PS...pls post a pic once you have wired and defoliated it so I can see the trunk and branches a little more closely.

The idea is to have a semi radial canopy spreading over to shade the red rock on the other side of the pot.
Will post pics later tonight, i am about to work on it..
Some of my very subjective thoughts. I would center it in the pot a little more. I have some roots over rock too, some have crossed-roots which I am still trying to fix at the moment; if I were you I would take this in account at this stage.
Excellent creation. In a few more seasons, this one will look very nice.
