Some of my very subjective thoughts. I would center it in the pot a little more. I have some roots over rock too, some have crossed-roots which I am still trying to fix at the moment; if I were you I would take this in account at this stage.

Excellent creation. In a few more seasons, this one will look very nice.

Best regards.
Thanks again mate!, Subjective thoughts and ideas are exactly what i'm looking for!

I too have some issues with its placement in the pot these days. The reason it is so far back in the corner is due to the first concept i had and how i wanted it to turn out when i first potted and packed it up... The basic plan/idea was for more of a miniature scene rather than just the rock and tree. The rock dictated many ideas as it has a 'corner section, (45*), at its tallest point at the back, sloping down on the front face.... What i had imagined was a horizontal, semi radial, canopy spreading back over and shading the smaller rock (evening out the balance,, I still think i can pull it off! :) (i should do a sketch!)

And.. Thanks for the heads up about future crossed / overlapping roots!!, i hadn't really thought about it! . . . There are a few small ones here, and i can take care of them allot easier now rather than later! Cheers mate!! :)

I intend to wire it with the least amount of disruption to the roots! (Still thinking and planning). Any feedback would be great!..

Hi NS

When I started reading this thread (today) I was anticipating some comment on the space left in the pot and whether another much smaller fig may be possible to replace the orphaned rock -- or some other species.

Now looking at your virt your fig will stand magnificent and dominating. I know there is some discussion on centering a bit more --- but it seems now more than ever to need that space to dominate.

I have no real suggestion just looking for some talk in this area.

Hey, Thanks mate, happy to hear that my 'unconventional' (even somewhat crazy), idea is appealing to at least one other person. :)
I really want others thoughts on this one! Any criticism, ideas and general thoughts are most welcome!
