Making An Unwanted Tree Wanted

Post by teejay »

I thought I'd show everyone how I've created a bit of a display area out of an ugly old tree in my courtyardy type place at home. I trimmed branches at the same height in two position and fixed benches on them, added a bamboo background, and the wife added a Buddha! :D

Sorry about the photo, I couldn't fit it all in.

And I'm having issues with resizing lately, so it's BIG

Very unique bench mate, thanks for sharing!
The Juniper up the back looks very familiar to me. Did you buy it from a lady in Carlingford?

Steven

Thanks guys.

No I didn't personally buy that juniper from Carlingford, it was given to me two years ago and they said they'd bought it from Imagination Tree in Monbulk. It was a bit of a mess when I received it and I've been cutting branches off it left right and center to open it up a bit. It's starting to look a lot better.
I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.
