Bonsai availability in South Australia

Post by AKNicolle »

I'm planning to organize a bonsai Christmas gift for relatives in SA (I'm in the US). At this stage it seems my best bet is to get a gift certificate from one of the local bonsai nurseries, since it seems trees are not commonly shipped between states (unlike the US!). Through my web searches I've found both Spirit of Bonsai in Glandore, and Bonsai City in Modbury. Has anyone dealt with either of these two vendors before? I'm more impressed with the website of the latter, but selection of trees is more important.

Do I have any other options for purchasing a tree for shipment/pickup in SA?

Thanks,
Andrew

G,day Andrew I believe you can get trees from other States into South Australia. On the site we have a list of Bonsai Nurseries for each state. I do remember one in Yatala Vale in South Australia, if I am right, it was a very good one and did a good line of Bonsai and related products.

I am sorry for being so vague on the address as it was a long time ago. Luke308 is a member of this forum and he has been there recently and knows the correct address
so send him a PM.
