Juniper from Beginners Course

Post by jesseb05 »

I attended a Bonsai Beginners course at Bonsai Northside a couple of weeks back and came home with this 8yr old Juniper.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out given my minimal experience with bonsai.
I'm going to let it grow for a few months and let it get settled into it's pot before I decide on any changes.

Nice little tree and for your first one, I would not change much at all.

Maybe some wire on the branches and bend them down and then allow to bulk up the foliage mass by pinching back. 9 especially the first branch on the left

Refine it over a year or so and will look even nicer
