Here is another 360° from the ones taken at the Sydney Bonsai Spectacular on 2nd October 2011 at Merrylands RSL.
Again, the photography is courtesy of Hard1all
I really like this tree, it's unusual, yet very intriguing. Love the combo of the PK(?) pot and it's reflection of colour and texture in the trunk and jin/shari. Quite inspiring ... Even better in 360
Thanks for sharing Steven, Allan and Hard1all
Cheers, Ryan
Cheers, Ryan Today I know more than I did yesterday, but less than I will tomorrow
The above photo makes the top half of the tree look fairly straight, but in the 360 degree view we see all the gentle twists and turns.
A wonderful tree and a great example of the benefit of the 360 view.
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.
I personally think this is not the correct front for this tree. After viewing it in 360 it (for mine) has a couple of better choices for frontal viewing. A good tree all the same.
"Advice is rarely welcome, and the one's who need it the most welcome it the least"
Could Allan maybe elaborate on his comments:"Is soon to have the lowest branch, opposite jin, removed and the apex as well. A new apex will be then created taking the same direction as the jin to give the tree greater movement and more presence" or maybe even do a quick sketch.
