My new Nigra pine
This my new pine i got from Alpineart , I removed the old needles and trimmed them so i could put the wire on . This is my first real wiring job that i've actually done myself . After i finished wiring and bent the trunk and branchers i trimmed the needles back more . Tomorrow i will decorate it for a Christmas tree. Thanks Alpine for all the instructions and photo's

Hi Sonic976 , you've done very well following instructions today , considering the short fuse i have at the moment . Consistency is something that you need to learn and a little care not to knock the new shoots off .It all comes with practice and time , Its was a top effort you put in today , far better than mine when i first started . Looking forward to teaching Tom the basics over the Holiday period . No doubt he will be as keen as you to learn the Art of Bonsai .Thank-you for all your help over the past weeks with all my tree's i most certainly appreciate all your hard work , and i hope you continue to play with a few more plants over the Christmas break .
Cheers Alpineart

Re: My new Nigra pine
While it is young I would add another wire and increase the trunk movement -----as the trunk grows and thickens the amount of 'movement' will lessen
